We put this rug at the entry to our home, and it provides a large and attractive space for people to take off their shoes. We did need to put a non-skid mat underneath because it's super-slippery.

Using on an uncovered outdoor stone patio under a metal table and chairs. So far it has held up to rain and some food spillage. I probably will roll it up and store it over the winter. I have not found any cons. I live in a mid-Atlantic state.

I have this rug out on my patio in Las Vegas. After almost a year of the LV sun, it has not faded. Super easy to sweep away debris from my plants, dog hair, etc.
