I actually haven't received the bed yet. I could have sworn that when i went to buy it the review written above mine wasn't available. Now I'm worried. The service woman I spoke to on the phone actually had little knowledge of the bed. She said several times that no one had any complaints about it but when I asked if the mattress shifted around (the logical assumption is that it sits somewhat in a niche), she said she wasn't certain. My growing concern grew even more when this was the point when I was informed of the return policy. I assumed that the quality of the service and the product would resemble a well known competitor's products, but already I see that it isn't. I ordered some very expensive towels and they were disappointing. The duvet cover i ordered was not as bright as the photograph, but decided to keep this anyway. And now, apparently the return policy on this bed is that if I don't like it, it will cost me about $700 to return? That's just crazy. I pray I like this bed but if not, this will have been one very expensive lesson learned.

I purchased this bed to use myself in the master bedroom. I loved the Zen design and the fact that it used recycled materials. When it arrived, I was impressed by how solid it appeared and I still like the look of the set. That happiness was short-lived when the mattress was placed on the bed and I realized this bed had a big design flaw. There aren't solid slabs of wood going across the whole platform. Instead, there are typical slats placed where the mattress goes. This would be okay except that they go too far out and can be seen beyond the edge of the mattress. I've had two different mattresses on this bed, so I know it wasn't just a smaller-than-normal mattress problem. It's sad that this is a problem because otherwise it's a really nice bed. I hope the company who makes this bed realizes their mistake and makes an effort to fix this oversight so that others aren't disappointed by their product, as I was.
