I use my tea kettle every day . . . all day! I absolutely love it, but wish I could get an accessory that I could put on the spout so it would whistle. That is the only negative for this wonderful kettle!

I loved this tea kettle. I used it every morning.

I noticed little black specks accumulating on the outside. I couldn't remove a lot of them. I learned that it was from splatter from previous cooking adventures that bake onto it when it's in use. Because they were so difficult to get off, it lowered it's aesthetic qualities slightly.

The kettle doesn't whistle or make any sort of sound when the water boils. (This is entirely my fault.) I turned on the stove to boil water, left the kitchen, forgot about it and the darling little blue bead on top melted. So set a timer too!

I've had this kettle for three years & it cracked today. I'm not sure if it grew too cold or what happened, but it was marvelous while it lasted.

As beautiful as this kettle is, I cannot reommend it. The spout broke off only after 3-4 uses. I super glued it back on, only to have it break again a couple of weeks later. Aside from that, when boiling water, the kettle makes loud popping noises from the time the stove is turned on. Beautiful but not practical... owned less that 45 days.

Beautiful. Mine lasted 3 yrs before I was a little too rough with it and the spout broke off (I mean....really...it is made of glass!) But i found that its beautiful lid is just the right size to cover a coffee mug. And I ordered a new pot.

I love herbal teas & tissanes for these to be their best they should be brewed at "just before boiling" hot water. This is the only kettle that allows me to ascertain when that has been attained. Also I am very particular that my tea kettle be absolutely clean and this kettle is just made for those of us who are prickly about these things. :-)

This glass tea kettle looks fabulous on my range. It is contemporary, functional and chic! The borosilicate glass allows immediate refill with cold water...no problem. The glass handle becomes too hot to pick up without a hot pad when boiling but I can live with that...I like to see the water coming to a boil.
