Artisans handcarve the discarded root balls of Chinese fir trees into magnificent bowls that display the character of their parent trees in unique color variations, knots, and small fissures. We've added a new naturally finished bowl to our favorite root collections. An ideal choice with any home furnishings, traditional or contemporary, the bowls' smoky finish highlights the grain and accentuates its undulating ridges and curves. All are untreated, so cracks and irregular grain patterns are normal. Food safe.
