Our teak bathroom furniture is made from plantation grown teak from Thailand. Scraps left from the manufacture of larger furniture are used so nothing goes to waste. Teak is highly valued in Thailand. Indeed, the felling of naturally grown teak trees has been banned there since the early 1980's. Teak forests are tightly controlled because of their enormous monetary and ecological importance to the nation.

Over time teak will attain a silvery-gray patina depending on its exposure to sunlight and moisture. If you wish to maintain the original tawny color occasionally apply a teak oil available at any local garden or hardware store.
