When one of our favorite eco-designers came across beautifully rendered pre-historic animal figures that were being traditionally hand-embroidered by the women of San Pueblito, Mexico, she was able to persuade them to change to organic cotton, while leaving all other aspects of their artistry intact. Today, more than 150 village women create our rabbit pillows providing a crucial source of community income.
