Trade Professionals Program FAQs
You must log into your account to receive your trade discount. If your order is up to $1000 (tax and shipping excluded), you will receive a 10% discount. Orders of $1000 or more will receive a 20% discount. To receive a quote please email the item # / product description and quantity to firstname.lastname@example.org

We strive to have products in-stock and ready to ship when you order, however some of our items are hand-made, artisan products and may take longer to arrive. Product copy will state if there is a longer delivery time for the item. During check out we provide you with the inventory status of every product. If an item is unavailable we will provide you with the date that we expect to ship that product.
Most orders ship within 48 hours and usually arrive in 3-7 business days. Some items ship directly from the artisan and may take slightly longer. Furniture items are made-to-order and, as a result, may have production lead times. For the most accurate information, please call our Trade Professionals representative at 800.745.7950.

3-Day (add $14.95 per address) and Next Day ($22.95 additional per address) shipping are available on most items. Items shipped via 3-Day or Next Day delivery that have been ordered by 2pm Eastern (Monday-Friday) will ship the same day, if placed after 2PM they ship the next day. Orders placed after 2PM Eastern Friday and on Saturday-Sunday will ship on Monday. Charges are per address. Express shipping is not available for oversized items or to AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.
Some items have shipping surcharges due to their size or special shipping requirements (like plants) - these additional charges will be noted on the product page. Also, some items cannot be shipped via Express delivery or to AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands and this is also noted on the product page.
Standard shipping of large furniture includes inside delivery and placement anywhere in your home by scheduled appointment (within a 4 hour window). Select items can be upgraded to 'White Glove' delivery (in the continental U.S. only) for an additional fee of $125 per item. 'White Glove' service includes our standard delivery service level plus product assembly and package removal. Furniture cannot be shipped via express delivery and most furniture cannot be shipped outside of the continental U.S.
Due to state restrictions citrus plants cannot be shipped to AZ, FL or TX. Due to perishability most plants cannot be shipped outside of the continental U.S. Shipping restrictions will be noted on the product page.
Orders shipping to AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands have a $15.95 surcharge per address added to cover additional costs. Express shipping is not available to AK, HI, Guam, Puerto Rico or the Virgin Islands.
State and local sales tax is collected on all orders shipped to California, Colorado and Illinois. If you've been accepted to this program and you have submitted a valid re-sale license your order will be tax exempt.
VivaTerra is proud to offer exceptional products. If an item fails to meet your expectations, simply return it within 30 days of receipt (or 7 days for live plants) and we will take it back for an exchange or refund of the product cost minus shipping charges. We regret that final sale, opened food and personal care items cannot be returned. Customized items cannot be returned unless there is a shipment error or manufacturing defect. To cancel an order of a backordered item, please contact us at 800.745.7950. Please note that some backordered items will ship prior to the date stated in the shopping cart when you checkout. VivaTerra cannot cancel an order for any item after the item has been picked for shipping (you can, of course, return the item for a refund).
Please refer to the return instructions on your packing slip and make sure your package is insured and prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. packages.

We regret that opened food and personal care items cannot be returned. Customized items cannot be returned unless there is a shipment error or manufacturing defect.
Please allow one billing cycle for a credit card refund to appear on your statement. Refunds on shipping and handling are credited only when an item is incorrectly shipped or arrives defective or damaged. Gift returns will be credited with a gift certificate.
In order to receive your discount you must log into your VivaTerra account and place your order online. The discount will show in the shopping cart when you checkout.
Our Trade Professionals discount is offered to interior designers and architects with a valid resale license and other professional certification.
Once your membership application has been processed and verified, your annual membership card will be sent. Please allow 2-3 weeks..

Our products are intended for residential use only. Certain products may or may not meet individual state's regulations for use in commercial applications. VivaTerra cannot be held responsible for use in commercial applications.
We offer fabric swatches for some of our upholstered furniture. Please contact our Trade Professionals representative at 800.745.7950 to request swatches.
If you provide us with your e-mail address, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when we ship your order. You will also receive email newsletters and sale notices from time to time. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter or sale notices you can opt out at anytime. You will still receive shipping confirmation emails whenever you order. VivaTerra never shares your email address.
Occassionally we make our mailing list available to other companies whose offer we think may interest you. If you would like to exclude your name and address from these mailings please contact customer service at 800.233.6011. We never share your email address.
We mail a limited number of catalogs and we want them to be welcome in your home. If you do not wish to receive our catalog, please call our customers service at 800.233.6011.

For a nominal fee of $1 per order, you can balance the carbon impact of your VivaTerra delivery and join others to help build a clean energy future.
Our first project in concert with Terrapass is the Red Hills Wind Farm. 5000 acres in Elk City Oklahoma will house 82 wind turbines creating 123 megawatts of electricity in an area that's predominant power source has been coal.
Invitation and/or application of the Trade Professionals Program does not guarantee automatic membership or discount. VivaTerra will grant membership status entirely on a discretionary basis. Enrollment is contingent upon receipt of appropriate credentials. Approved applications will receive a confirmation email with a personal trade discount code. This is not a credit card application. Terms & Conditions are subject to change.
Trade Professionals Membership Information
Membership in the VivaTerra Trade Professionals Program is non-transferable. A membership card can only be used by the names card holder. Misuse of the membership may result in membership termination. Misuse includes, without limitation: use of the trade discount for personal purchases, any resale of merchandise purchased using the trade discount through any retail outlet (e.g., resale on or through any retail or auction web site or store), transfer of membership, allowing others to use the membership card (e.g., sharing the card with a client), and submitting false, expired or misleading information in connection with a membership application.
Trade Professionals Discount Information
The trade discount is valid on all items but cannot be combined with other promotional discount codes.The discount does not apply to purchase of Gift Certificates or shipping charges and cannot be applied to past purchases. The discount is available online when you log into your account on our web site. We reserve the right to change the list of items not eligible for the Trade Professionals dicount at our sole discretion without prior notice.
Trade Professionals Membership Card Information
A membership card is valid until the printed expiration date. VivaTerra is not responsible for cards lost, damaged or stolen, or for any unauthorized use of the card. Lost stolen or damaged cards may be canceled and replaced at the sole discretion of VivaTerra upon receipt of the required business documentation. The membership cards is not a credit card.
VivaTerra reserves the right to terminate a membership or cancel the Trade Professionals program at its sole discretion with or without notice to the member. Members may cancel their membership at any time and for any reason by callling our Trade Professional Representative at 800.745.7950, Mon - Fri 9AM-9PM ET.
