Cast Stone Birdbaths can be cleaned with diluted vinegar and water or with any commercially available mild detergent. Use a soft cloth, sponge or brush. Do not pressure wash, apply corrosive cleaners or bleach, or clean with anything abrasive. Note that it may take several cycles of wiping and drying before the item is completely clean. We suggest that birdbath tops not be left outside in the winter. Once the top fills with water or snow and freezes, the top may crack. If you are unable to bring your birdbath inside, tops should be turned upside down and bases should be raised off the ground to prevent them from freezing to the ground.
