• Pellionia is a fairly uncommon genus in the houseplant trade
• Native to tropical and subtropical Asia, there are a few dozen species of Pellionia, of which only one is typically seen in cultivation
• They have high humidity requirements and cannot tolerate cold drafts at all
• However, if you can provide the right conditions, they grow a wonderful and interesting trail
• Grows to 20 cm tall
• It is a perennial with asymmetrical oval green leaves, slightly fleshy, strikingly marked with curved silver stripes, and red stems
• Tiny green flower spikes appear in summer
• Mist the plant daily, or grow them in a bathroom or other naturally humid environment
• If your leaves brown, the most common cause is low humidity
• It requires bright indirect direct light
