Sheesham wood is native primarily to Northern India, Nepal, Pakistan, and Western Asia. The wood grows naturally as well as on plantations to maintain sustainable harvesting rates. Sheesham’s color ranges from golden brown to darker reddish brown and generally has a straight grain. It is also known to be highly resistant to rot and decay.
